With a rising amount of coronavirus cases and countries opening for tourism, it’s posing a higher risk to both locals and foreigners visiting a fresh country. Also to curb this example, many countries are limiting its visitors or stopping them to go to their country entirely. Also to curb this example, Malaysia has banned the entry of visitors from India, Indonesia and the Philippines because of the rising amount of coronavirus cases from these national countries.
The Defence Minister of Malaysia, Ismail Sabri Yaakob said in a press conference that restriction would affect anyone who has long-term passes, students, expatriates, permanent residents along with family of Malaysians. Malaysia had already banned the entry of foreigners since march and also have been slowly checking for tourism.
Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said in a speech that Malaysia is extending its measures to curb the pandemic before end of the year because the virus continues to be actively spreading and with regards to travel, the national country could keep a tab on its situation.
The new rule is performed because the Virus has been spreading at an instant pace in the Philippines and Indonesia; India too has several cases using its daily count reaching over 75000+ and stands 3rd in world coronavirus count. Hence, Malaysia is taking its steps for citizens safety and bans visitors from these national countries.
