Dune’s Baron Harkonnen Revealed Via New Action Figure
With all of the publicity surrounding the brand new movie, including ‘ first reveals, one major character mostly now remained hidden until. Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, memorably portrayed as a human blimp with a condition of the skin in the David Lynch version. A hint was provided by the trailer of ‘s version in what appeared as if a mud bath, however now McFarlane Toys’ action figure gives us a complete look at his outfit from the film (via ).
His skin may be cleaner, however the villainous head of House Harkonnen looks as morbidly obese just. Not one to obtain his hands in the action himself dirty, the Baron likely leaves the majority of the active evildoing to his nephew Glossu Rabban.
The figure depicted is really a 12-inch figure, which probably means a more substantial scale compared to the others, and articulated barely. McFarlane Toys knows the marketplace prefers poseable characters in the six to seven-inch scale, but their Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 lines recently included more dynamically posed, fixed-position 12-inchers.
Could he could be seen by us in an inferior scale aswell? Assuming another figures sell, it appears likely. We still haven’t seen the Baron’s archrival Duke Leto in plastic form yet, and the Dune toy universe would feel incomplete without them.
The Baron hits stores this fall. Set up movie opens on schedule, we will see.
