    Pixel Buds firmware update fixes annoying audio cutout issue

    Google is rolling out a Pixel Buds firmware patch which should fix an audio glitch some users experienced. The patch, section of firmware update v552, resolves an presssing issue where audio cuts out every minute and 50 seconds.

    When the most recent Pixel Buds found its way to April, we were impressed by their solid audio, reliable touch controls, price and fit. But following the earbuds launched shortly, users began reporting problems with audio eliminating. In June and said it could begin rolling out software fixes google acknowledged the issues.

    As 9to5Google notes, in June and August decreased audio hissing and static and improved call stability firmware updates, autorecovery after losing connection, media playback and much more. Not absolutely all users experienced audio eliminating after about a minute and 50 seconds, which means this latest update is really a pretty specific issue. Some users are experiencing random cutouts still, so Google has work to accomplish still.
