Quake Receives A Fresh Update With Machine Games Providing A New Horde Mode

Quake, which was re-released for modern consoles and PC back in August, is receiving even more love from the devs at Bethesda and Wolfenstein developer Machine Games with a new mode and content added with Update 2. Out today on all platforms, Update 2 brings a host of big fixes, but most importantly, an entirely new Horde Mode. Developed by the team at Machine Games, Quakes Horde Mode pits teams of 1-4 local or online players (or bots!) against swarms of AI enemies on four brand new horde maps. Every third wave of baddies will include a boss which coughs up a silver key which can be cashed in to collect more weapons and items, bolstering your arsenal for further battles. It's a new Quake experience authored by senior level designer Christian Grawer from Machine Games. Quake is making its Epic Games Store debut today, as well. Pick it up there if EGS is your PC game launcher of choice. You can find the full contents of Update 2 here.  Are you going to squad up with friends and take on rounds of devious Quake hordes? Bird releases less expensive, foldable Air electric scooter for $599

    Bird Air electric scooter

If the premium Bird One is for the transportation needs overkill, Bird includes a more priced electric scooter waiting for you reasonably. The mobility company has released a custom-made Bird Air e-scooter that provides just a couple frills for a not-too-outlandish $599. The foldable design may be the clear feature and is practical for city commutes, but it addittionally boasts “never-flat” tires and an aluminum frame that’s reportedly tough enough to carry up under everyday use.

You can get a moderate 16MPH top speed or more to 16 miles of range. It’s much less long-lasting because the 25-mile One, then, nonetheless it should cover a downtown trip.

The Air comes in the united states through Target now, and can reach the state Bird store in the “coming days.sometime in November ” International availability starts.

The new scooter fills a big gap in Bird’s lineup and helps it be somewhat more accessible if you prefer a two-wheeler of your rather than renting. For Bird, it’s also a defense against changes in the e-scooter world. It could be cheaper to get a low-cost scooter than to help keep renting Bird’s machines for regular trips outright. The new air means that Bird gets at the very least some of your cash, if it misses from rentals in the years ahead even.
