All In: Amazon’s voter suppression doc streaming free tomorrow
In solidarity with this particular year’s National Voter Registration Day tomorrow, has announced that directors Liz Garbus and Lisa Cortes’ documentary film All In: The Fight for Democracy will undoubtedly be designed for free viewing on Tuesday, September 22 every day and night in the front Amazon Prime Video’s paywall. It’ll be offered on Amazon’s social media marketing channels including Twitch also, Twitter and youtube. Furthermore, voting rights activist and former Georgia gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams is defined to host watch parties alongside Hamilton‘s Lin Manuel Miranda on Twitter at 4PM PT.
In anticipation of the 2020 presidential election, ALL IN: THE FIGHT FOR DEMOCRACY examines the often overlooked, yet insidious problem of voter suppression in the usa The film interweaves personal experiences with current activism and historical insight to expose an issue which has corrupted our democracy from the beginning. With the expertise and perspective of Stacey Abrams, the former Minority Leader of the Georgia House of Representatives, the documentary provides an insider’s consider laws and barriers to voting that a lot of people don’t even understand is really a threat with their basic rights as citizens of america.
The documentary film was directed and made by award-winning filmmaker Liz Lisa and Garbus Cortes. It was made by Abrams and Dan Cogan also. The film recently had its limited theatrical release earlier this month and was soon accompanied by it digital debut last September 18.
