Les (Steve Buscemi) is really a small-time paparazzi with dreams of earning it big. His luck changes for the higher when he befriends a homeless kid, Toby (Michael Pitt), and makes him his assistant. Both form an unlikely bond running right through the sham and glam of NYC’s celebrity scene however when Toby falls for a pop diva and becomes possible TV star, Les personally takes the rejection. The never-before-seen Director’s Cut features bonus and behind-the-scenes content including a fresh filmed introduction by director Tom DiCillo detailing the motivation behind his 12-year seek out the film.

When I came across the existing owner of the rights to the film finally, I jumped at the opportunity to restore the film to its original cut.
