    Surviving graduation is merely the initial challenge for Bray (Chris Ball), Oliver (Rory J. Saper), and Stacey (Phillips), three friends determined to get to the Summerland music festival, regardless of what it takes. Getting into a road-trip in high-spirits, there’s a lot more than music looking forward to them by the end of the rainbow just. Bray has plans to meet up Shawn, a boy he met on an online dating service he’s convinced is questioning his sexuality. The nagging problem? He’s been pretending to be Stacey, Oliver’s girlfriend, to access him close.

    The film is directed by Lankyboy, a directing duo comprised of Kurtis David Harder (Shudder Original Spiral, Incontrol) and Noah Kentis. Both have directed numerous music videos and co-wrote the script for Summerland alongside Chris Ball and Dylan Griffiths. Harder can be a celebrated producer on several breakout hit horror movies including Brandon Christensen’s Z, Rob Grant’s Harpoon, Colin Minihan’s What Keeps You Alive and Michael Peterson’s Knuckleball.

    Alongside Phillips, the cast for the film includes Rory J. Saper (Find Me In Paris, The Legend of Tarzan), Dylan Playfair (Letterkenny, Descendants 1 & 2, The Mighty Ducks), Noah Grossman (Smosh) and Chris Ball (Incontrol).

    Summerland is really a Superchill and First Look Films production and made by Kurtis David Harder, Chris Ball, Brandon Christensen, and KC McPherson. Stephen stephen and Klugman Klugman executive produced. The Canadian feature was shot on location at the Joshua Tree Music Festival and on the highway in Las Vegas, LA, San Fransisco, Seattle, Portland, and Northern California, aswell in Calgary, AB.
