    House of the Dragon: Game of Thrones Prequel Eyeing 2022 Debut

    According to , HBO president Casey Bloys has confirmed that they’re likely to release their upcoming Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon in 2022 which may be 3 years following the original series had concluded its eight-season run. Bloys in addition has revealed that casting continues to be underway that is actually consistent with previous reports back July where in fact the network was reportedly searching for actresses to portray the series’ female lead characters Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower.

    Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, the series will chronicle the rise and the downfall of the Targaryens, who’s the only category of dragonlords to survive the Doom of Valyria. It will require place 300 years prior to the events of the award-winning series adaptation of Game of Thrones which aired its final episode last May 2019.
