Horizon Forbidden West: Meet The Cast Of Guerrilla Games’ Upcoming RPG In New Trailer

We’re closing in on the release of Horizon Forbidden West and PlayStation is releasing more and more about the game. Yesterday, Guerrilla Games released a new Forbidden West story trailer, and you can check out some exclusive details we learned about it after talking to the team, and now the studio has released a special “meet the cast” trailer. It begins with an introduction to protagonist Aloy’s voice actor, Ashly Burch, who explains that Aloy had to step into a new role as the hero of the world. She also touches on the more adversarial aspect of Aloy and Sylens’ relationship. And speaking of Sylens, Lance Reddick is returning to voice the character last seen in the post-credits scene at the end of Horizon Zero Dawn. He talks about Sylens’ egomaniac personality and how that shapes his relationships in Forbidden West.  Click here to watch embedded media We also meet Kotallo’s voice actor, Noshir Dalal. Both newcomers to the series, Kotallo encounters Aloy at a time when his life is in major crisis. Kotallo’s chief envisions a peaceful alliance in the Forbidden West and it’s Kotallo’s mission to champion his chief’s cause. Joining Kotallo as a new character in the world of Horizon is Tilda, who is voiced by Matrix alumn Carrie-Anne Moss.  “I play this very interesting character named Tilda who is quite a dynamic character,” Moss says in the trailer. “As an artist, there’s a lot of freedom in doing something like this. You get to be in the moment, getting thrown direction from the director, getting to try it over and over again; I felt like creatively, it was a lot of fun. There’s a lot of mystery to her – I don’t want to say too much – but she’s an interesting character and I loved playing her.” Next up is Varl, voiced by John Macmillan. As Macmillan notes, Varl has been on a “heck of a journey.” He says the writers did a great job of evolving the character in Forbidden West as he’s more mature and more willing to challenge Aloy when needed. Erend, voiced by John Hopkins, is back too. He talks about Aloy’s disappearance at the end of Zero Dawn, which sets up a fractured relationship at the start of Forbidden West.     Tony Gilroy steps down from directing Cassian Andor series

    Disney+’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story spin-off series devoted to Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor has seen a wave of behind-the-scenes troubles addressing the starting line and today it’s hit another minor bump in the street as Tony Gilroy has stepped down from directing the initial three episodes of the series, in accordance with .

    Sources report that Gilroy’s departure from the positioning is a types of pandemic-related travel issues simply, because the series’ co-writer lives in NY and had to produce a quick decision on whether he’d check out the U.K. for the shooting and made a decision to stay home and give directing duties to Black Mirror‘s Toby Haynes, who was simply one of many potential directors for future episodes already. Regardless of the departure from directing, Gilroy continues to be set to stay very associated with the project as executive showrunner and producer.

    The cast for the series is defined to feature the returns of Luna, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Stellan Skarsgård, Kyle Soller and Adria Arjona, with Alan Tudyk likely to return as Cassian’s droid sidekick K-2SO. While character details for Gough and Arjona’s roles are increasingly being kept under wraps currently, O’Reilly is defined to come back to her role of Republic senator and co-founder and leader of the Rebel Alliance Mon Mothma after first appearing in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith in a non-speaking role and a far more prominent supporting submit Rogue One. She was also voiced by O’Reilly in Star Wars Rebels and Kath Soucie in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

    Gilroy, who directed the reshoots for Rogue One, reportedly rewrote the pilot episode for the series with Stephen Schiff (The Americans) originally set to serve because the series’ showrunner before leaving the series, but sources previously reported that Schiff has since is and returned dealing with Gilroy to build up the project.

    The series will observe the adventures of rebel spy Cassian Andor through the formative years of the Rebellion and before the events of Rogue One. The spy thriller series will explore tales of espionage and daring missions to revive desire to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.

    In Rogue One, several unlikely heroes bands together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings ordinary individuals who elect to do extraordinary things together, and in doing this, become section of something higher than themselves.

    Luna starred alongside Felicity Jones in the film with Mads Mikkelsen, , Jiang Wen, , plus Forest Whitaker and Ben Mendelsohn. It remains to be observed if these characters shall come in the series.
