CS Virtual Set Visit: Disney’s Raya and the final Dragon
Ahead of the film’s arrival in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access, ComingSoon.net got the chance to have a virtual trip behind the scenes of Walt Disney Animation’s latest fantasy adventure Raya and the final Dragon, including seeing some new concept images and art which can be viewed in the gallery below!

When reflecting on the film’s three main characters being fleshed-out female characters, director Don Hall will not that “you can find male cast members aswell” but most of all believes, alongside director Carlos López producer and Estrada Osnat Shurer, that both global world of the film and the film itself are “for everyone.”

“Awkwafina fit the dragon that we were looking for-some combination of emotion and wisdom and humor,” Shurer warmly explained. “She brings those three things in a few magical potion together.”
“If you ask me, something about Awkwafina that’s amazing is that in this movie, particularly, we realize her comedic side obviously, and she actually is has and hilarious improvisational skills like no other,” Estrada added. “We’ve seen her dramatic side also. We have have observed her in “The Farewell.” We’ve seen all the dramatic work that done she’s, which is incredible also. But this movie, she reaches really travel in one end of the spectrum to another and everything among. Sisu really gives Awkwafina this type of good possiblity to explore the wackiest of her comedy, and just probably the most earnest beautiful also, honest acting that had people in tears. Raya and the final Dragon is co-directed by Don Hall (Big Hero 6), Carlos López Estrada (Blindspotting), Paul Briggs (Zootopia) and John Ripa from the script compiled by Adele Lim (Crazy Rich Asians) and Qui Nguyen.
The film will get to theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access on March 5.
