    Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel may be the first season in a fresh documentary series that deconstructs the mythology and surrounding infamous locations in contemporary crime. For a century nearly, the Cecil Hotel in Downtown LA has been associated with a few of the city’s most notorious activity, from deaths to housing serial killers untimely.

    In 2013, Elisa Lam was residing at the Cecil when she vanished, igniting a media frenzy and mobilizing a worldwide community of internet sleuths wanting to solve the entire case. Lam’s disappearance, the most recent chapter in the hotel’s complex history, supplies a chilling and captivating lens into among LA’s most nefarious settings.
