Airbnb Chief CEO predicted that travel won’t back just how it had been before pandemic with people visiting less touristic location and so are also spending additional time with families and friends.
Traditional tourism and touristic locations all over the world will be reduced by travellers significantly. Instead, travellers will be visiting smaller communities, domestic touristic sites and several such destinations and in addition, people shall not fly like before for conferences.
Travelers are ‘Yearning to see what has been recinded from them’ said the CEO. Speaking at a conference, Brian Chesky CEO of Airbnb said They’re not yearning to see Times Square. What they’re yearning to accomplish would be to see their friends and their own families they will have not observed in quite a while.”
The startup was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020 and its own business dropped by 80% in just a little over eight weeks.
However, as lockdown eased, more travellers opted to book home rather than hotels thus helping Airbnb post a surprise profit looked after gained fascination with renting homes from major cities.
The home rental service went public with an enormous IPO in December using its shares doubling it’s currency markets debut.
