Guy Pearce joins Kate Winslet in HBO’s limited series Mare of Easttown
Golden Globe nominee and Emmy winner Guy Pearce (Memento, L.A. Confidential) is reuniting along with his Mildred Pierce, Oscar-winning co-star Kate Winslet (The Reader, Steve Jobs) in HBO’s upcoming limited series Mare of Easttown, replacing Ben Miles following the actor left the project because of scheduling conflicts (via Deadline).

Mare Of Easttown stars Winslet as Mare Sheehan, a small-town Pennsylvania detective whose life crumbles around her as she investigates an area murder.
Pearce shall play Richard Ryan, a visiting creative writing professor who wrote a dazzling novel that won the National Book Award 25 years back, but he’s got lived around his early promise never.
The series stars Julianne Nicholson, Jean Smart, Angourie Rice, Evan Peters, Cailee Spaeny David Denman, John Douglas Thompson, Patrick Murney, James McArdle, Sosie Bacon, Joe Tippett, and Neal Huff.
Mare of Easttown is written and executive made by Brad Inglesby who also serves as showrunner on the series.

Winslet, Inglesby, and Craig Zobel will executive produce with Gavin O’Connor alongside Gordon Gray through Mayhem Pictures along with Paul Lee and Mark Royball for wiip.
