Only Those Worthy Can Win This Thor: Love And Thunder Xbox Series X

Microsoft, the company that brought us furry Sonic controllers and a Far Cry 6 console that resembled a bomb, has unveiled its latest kooky Xbox Series X sweepstakes, and it may be the coolest/dumbest one yet. Hot on the heels of the premier of Thor: Love and Thunder on July 8, the company is giving away a custom Series X modeled after Thor’s trusty hammer, Mjölnir. That means the console looks like a big, cracked slab of dwarven-crafted uru that still channels electricity and may or may not be liftable depending on if you’re worthy. It's hard to tell if that handle is real or simply edited into the photo for full effect, but you should probably assume the worst (best?) when considering making space for this thing.  The contest begins today and concludes on July 21.     On March 26, 2019 took a jaunt to Village Roadshow Studios idyllic Queensland, Australia to go to the group of just a little movie with two very big protagonists: Godzilla vs. Kong! Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary’s fourth entry inside their MonsterVerse series follows in the footsteps of previous entries Godzilla (2014), Kong: Skull Island (2017) and Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), which share the normal thread of the omnipresent Monarch organization monitoring and attempting control of the iconic monsters known as Titans.

    While there were many films featuring both Godzilla and King Kong separately, there’s a precedent for both to duke it out with Ishirō Honda’s 1962 cult classic King Kong vs. Godzilla. This new $200 million version from noted genre director Adam Wingard (Death Note, The Guest, Blair Witch) dispenses with the painfully dated depiction of islanders, man-in-suit effects and just about everything else from the ’62 film and only a neon-soaked modern take that’s not a remake but definitely a follow-up from what was mapped out in King of the Monsters, a movie that -at enough time of filming- had ahead out in theaters yet. Thus, both we as people to the set and Wingard as a filmmaker had the initial connection with experiencing a sequel-in-the-making prior to the previous installment had even been seen by audiences.

The paintings also tease an enormous action set piece where Godzilla attacks a flotilla of ships carrying Kong, where in fact the two of these face off first.

    We find out about several changes because the events of KOTM: Kyle Chandler’s Dr. Mark Russell is currently a director at Monarch (marking Chandler’s second Kong movie after Peter Jackson’s 2005 King Kong), and there’s been plenty of rebuilding in the wake of monster destruction that is mostly handled by the powerful Apex Corporation.     “The, which includes changed a whole lot in the 40-something years since we last saw it in ‘Kong,’ so when the movie first opens we have been witnessing the start of an extremely massive event, an enormous mission being undertaken to stem this global threat,” says producer Alex Garcia, who has shepherded all MonsterVerse movies to the screen. “The Titans remain the planet, they will have remained dormant by the end of King of the Monsters largely, we note that there are lots of Titans on the planet and Godzilla has been reinstated because the apex predator and he’s maintaining a balance. But once we enter into this movie Godzilla has been acting erratically going back couple of months – no-one knows why. He’s been attacking certain cities, facilities. Madison Russell – who’s Mille Bobby Brown’s character – she actually is actually the advocate for Godzilla in this film. The film is spent by her attempting to vindicate Godzilla. She believes, with all her heart, that for a number of personal and emotional reasons that there has to be grounds Godzilla does what he’s doing. She believes that while he’s not benevolent to us, that what he wants is wonderful for all mankind. Another side of the complete story is that Monarch, in reacting to the global concern with the creatures, has spent a whole large amount of time and lots of money creating entrances in to the Hollow Earth, these certain specific areas where it could be a less strenuous entry into that eco-system.”

    “In the beginning of the movie, we note that first mission in to the Hollow Earth, and the mission is they’re gonna take this product in to the center of our planet that will draw all of the creatures slowly back again to the biggest market of the planet through various openings and they’ll seal it. The hope is which will bring a balance and that worries back, the perceived threat, will undoubtedly be stemmed. It goes wrong catastrophically. A character was got by us, Nathan Lind (Alexander Skarsgaard), who has spearheaded this mission – mission goes south – the whole planet is in disarray completely. Madison, who’s aware of all of this, decides to go and discover on her behalf own off, because she’s afraid of what’s likely to eventually Godzilla, she continues on a fact-finding journey to dig into what she believes is really a conspiracy due to this organization called Apex. She launched off with an excellent friend named Josh (Julian Dennison), plus they eventually intersect with Bernie (Brian Tyree Henry), who’s a former, disgruntled employee of Apex. The three of these become this funny trio attempting to uncover the mystery at the biggest market of Apex.”

    Appropriately whenever we first step on set we pass an oversized Kong/Godzilla-sized slate designed for the production. Works out that everything here’s big. Entering the massive “Skull Set” on Stage 8, we have been greeted by way of a MASSIVE practical Ghidorah skull, that has been acquired by Charles Dance’s Alan Jonah with the flesh onto it at the tail end of KOTM still. There are lots of multi-colored ultraviolet wires entering the skull from the ceiling. It is detailed highly, with many machine elements embedded in to the design. There’s a portal through the jaw, with is really a control room in the skull sporting some type of computer array, where in fact the floor is reflective and black and everything is bathed in blue light, with the entire feel of an MDM nightclub.

    We see Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Brian Tyree Henry (Joker) and Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2) rehearse a scene where they infiltrate the entrance of the jaw. They look above at the clear glass floor and see people walking above them. Because they enter with Millie in the lead sneakily, Julian asks, “What exactly are you doing, Madison?”

    Above them Shun Oguri as Ren Serizawa says, “Many thanks for the service.”

    “This can be a stupid plan,” whispers Julian.

    Then, and exclaims “Oh s**t, I’m sorry,” breaking character. She moves plus they continue the get back.

    “I play Dr. Ishiro Serizawa (Ken Watanabe)’s son,” says Oguri. “He works for Apex, which really is a tech company, a owned tech company privately, that’s attempting to solve the Titan problems. And he could be among their scientists. His father was very occupied solving world issues with Godzilla, and he did type of follow into his father’s footsteps, but he doesn’t believe he was heard by his father. Generally, he could be a character who would like to protect the planet earth which is his goal generally. The means are believed by me to access the goal is really a little bit not the same as everyone else, and his father.”

    “Five years have gone by and Madison is continuing to grow up,” Brown later tells us. “It’s a coming old story on her behalf definitely. Her storyline has evolved greatly in the manner she handles things definitely, her attitude towards life, just how much more stronger of an individual. Really attempting to follow in her mother’s footsteps in addition to strength-wise she’s becoming more strong, more understanding and independent what she must do. Five years have died by and she’s a badass basically. In ‘King of the Monsters’ her relationship with Godzilla was pretty distant. You will find moments in ‘King of the Monsters’ where she reaches have amazing scenes with him, but definitely this movie is a lot more concerning the technical side of it, learning more concerning the data of him as a Titan. A lot more technical and she’s becoming more knowledgeable of him it’s.”

    “My character, Josh, he’s sort of a nerd, adds Dennison. “He doesn’t genuinely have plenty of friends and Madison’s sort of his only friend and he’s always trailing behind her and she’s always very direct. He’s sort of the realist in the duo, and he sort of brings it, ‘Oh, we shouldn’t do this because we’ll die.’ And she’s, ‘No, it shall be fine.’ So, I believe they play perfectly. And they’re a good mixture of craziness just.”

    “My character is Bernie Hayes, he was previously a worker of Apex Industries, sort of among the cogs in the chain of all plain things they do there,” says Henry. “He lost his wife on the way and sort of turned in on himself and chose to expose Apex for exactly what it is. He’s similar to an internal conspiracy theorist, he runs their own podcast that sort of exposes what’s going on in this random world of technology we’ve found ourselves in and the corruptness of everything. He eventually ends up being befriended by both of these kids – Madison (Millie Bobby Brown) and Josh (Julian Dennison) – to sort of attempt this journey using them to expose this industry that’s sort of bringing between the destruction with Godzilla – and everything going on with Godzilla and Kong.”

    Each time the team goes again for another take slightly the actors change it out up, keeping it fresh. On take 2 Brian says, “This doesn’t look like an extremely smart idea. They are able to come anytime back. ” Shun enters from above.

    Millie talks about Shun above her, following him with her eyes and hands, moves forward then. Brian follows reluctantly, exclaiming, “That’s it, follow the teenagers.”

    Take 6 is comparable but moves faster, with Julian you start with, “What’re you doing?brian and ” ending on the sarcastic, “Okay, it’s an adventure.”

    On Take 7, Brian further takes it, this right time buttoning the scene on, “Okay… ’cause following teenagers always works, Bernie. I’m not gonna survive… You’re gonna survive.”

    Then, Brian says, “Yeah, that’s it Bernie…. ’cause following teenagers computes on your side always, right? I appear to be a pedophile now, can’t do this.”

    “They’re incredible absolutely, you understand, says Henry of his co-stars. “I get yourself a little nervous sometimes when I believe about dealing with teenagers in this capacity because what they need to do and what they’re asked is indeed difficult therefore hard, and especially with Millie’s character there’s an emotional center for what she’s lost from the prior movie. So my duty is usually to be there to nurture them just, and protect them in this manner just. I sort of make reference to myself because the Brienne of Tarth of the movie (laughs). Besides that, you understand, it’s a weird sort of comradery to be the adult with one of these teenagers and you also wanna make certain there’s an authority figure, that there surely is someone watching out for them, but at exactly the same, I’m still going right through what I’m going right through of racking your brains on how this industry can perform something so harsh therefore mean therefore cruel to the planet, while attempting to give them expect the near future also.
