ABC Officially Renews Grey’s Station and Anatomy 19 Spin-Off

The long-running and extremely popular medical drama Grey’s Anatomy has officially been renewed for its 18th season. Grey’s Anatomy will get a brand new season, with its Station 19 spin-off also being renewed for a 5th season. It’s unclear whether or not the upcoming 18th season of Grey’s Anatomy will be its last, but the future of the show is certainly up in the air. It also stars Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt, Jesse Williams as Jackson Avery, Caterina Scorsone as Amelia Shepherd, Camilla Luddington as Jo Wilson, and Kelly McCreary as Maggie Pierce.

    Just a couple of years following a film in line with the beloved vehicular combat game franchise was cancelled, Sony Pictures PlayStation and Television Productions have begun development on a string adaptation of Twisted Metal, in accordance with Variety.

    The series is referred to as an action comedy and can focus on a motor-mouthed outsider who’s offered the chance to obtain a better life only after he successfully delivers a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Partnering with a trigger-happy car thief, he’ll face off against savage bandits driving deadly vehicles of destruction along with other dangers on the highway, like the fan-favorite deranged clown Sweet Tooth in his menacing ice cram truck.

    Twisted Metal marks the next series to enter development for Sony Pictures PlayStation and TV Productions, with another being HBO’s The Last of Us series that just landed Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones) for the central roles.
