Dominique Fishback joins Apple’s THE FINAL Days of Ptolemy Grey
On the heels of her breakout roles in HBO’s The Deuce , Netflix’s Project Power and WB’s Judas and the Black Messiah , Dominique Fishback has found another major role to increase her resumé as she joins the cast for Apple’s miniseries adaptation of THE FINAL Days of Ptolemy Grey , according to The Hollywood Reporter.

THE FINAL Days of Ptolemy Grey focuses on the titular character, a 91-year-old man forgotten by his family, by his friends, by himself even. On the brink of sinking deeper right into a lonely dementia even, Ptolemy experiences a seismic shift when he’s given the tremendous possibility to briefly regain his memories, and uses this fleeting and precious lucidity to resolve his nephew’s death and comprehend his past. Samuel L. Jackson ( The Banker ) is defined in the titular role while Fishback has signed to star as Robyn, a detailed friend of the household who helps Ptolemy, with the streamer having signed White Tiger writer/director Ramin Bahrani to executive and direct produce.

The series will be compiled by author Walter Mosley, who’ll serve being an executive producer alongside Jackson also. Anonymous Content’s Eli Selden and Diane Houslin have already been set as executive producers also. This marks the next collaboration between Apple and Jackson, who’ve worked together in last year’s The Banker previously.

Jackson is well known for his acclaimed performances in Do the proper Thing best, Pulp Fiction , Jackie Brown , Django Unchained , The Hateful Eight , and much more. He also gained recognition for his role as Nick Fury in Marvel Studios’ blockbuster MCU films and is defined to reprise the role in Disney+’s new MCU series Secret Invasion .
