The limited series, created, written and executive made by Shannon Tindle ( Kubo and both Strings ), is inspired by William Joyce’s Ollie’s Odyssey and centers around a lost toy on an epic adventure, searching over the national country for the boy who lost him, and the complete story of the boy who lost greater than a best friend. A heartwarming journey to reunite in the true face of all dangers that childhood can throw at them.
Groff, who caused Netflix on the acclaimed crime thriller  previously; Mindhunter , will star as Ollie, a handmade toy rabbit stitched from assorted items together. Ollie includes a pure spirit with a heart of gold rather than ruins an opportunity to socialize. He’s been close friends with Billy since forever, day he results in a resale shop without way home until one. Though he’s afraid of the unknown often, Ollie puts on a brave face and cause to get Billy, meeting other toys to greatly help him on the way
Blige, who was simply nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in the historical drama Mudbound and starred in the initial season of The Umbrella Academy , will voice Rosy, a raggedy teddy bear stitched from other toys together. Rosy is really a fearless warrior who’s passionate with inspiring confidence deeply. While unsure of Ollie initially, she becomes a significant ally because they are joined by her on the journey.

Tim Blake Nelson, coming from HBO’s acclaimed Watchmen series and playing the titular role in Netflix’s The Ballad of Buster Scruggs , can look as Zozo, a clown doll who’s a vintage toy and a mature soul even. Rodriguez, who led the streamer’s recently-concluded Carmen Sandiego animated recurs and series on Emmy-winning adult animated series Big Mouth , will star as Sharon aka Momma, Billy’s mother, a loving woman who inspires imagination and creativity in her son. She ensures to together cherish their time, teaching Billy all of the plain things he’ll have to know to get happiness later on.
Jake Johnson, who led Netflix’s short-lived Hoops , will star as James aka Daddy, Billy’s father, who’s stressed and overworked, doing his far better care for Billy and his wife, Sharon. That stress results in being short with Billy sometimes, but he’s doing all they can to produce a good life for his son.
Kesler Talbot, who appeared in the now-defunct-Quibi’s horror anthology  recently; 50 States of Fright , will play Billy, a boy with a mind bursting with creativity. He shares a magical bond along with his toy Ollie, a homemade rabbit created by his beloved mother, who joins him on most of his adventures. When Ollie gets lost, Billy embarks on a mission to get him.
