Happy Thursday! Spring Training is winding down and the 2021 Major League Baseball season is right nearby. Everyone on we is excited showing you the initial extended look at MLB The Show 21. We’ve got a lot more to reveal, including a particular legends trailer developing in a couple weeks.
We at NORTH PARK Studio have become excited for the release of MLB The Show 21, our first PlayStation 5 and first multi-platform (with cross play*) iteration of The Show. We’ve been focusing on a complete large amount of fun new features for several our fans, new and returning. Here are just some of the brand new additions to check forward to with MLB The Show 21’s gameplay:
The friendliest Show yet
Learn the ropes which means you, too, could make impressive off-the-wall notch and catches up your gameplay. A route has been added by us to ball indicator to assist you in the field, improved the throw accuracy meter to assist you showcase your cannon, and also have built-in assists to create dives and jumps more intuitive. Not used to MLB The Show, Casual mode explains all of the gameplay mechanics of The Show while permitting you to hit dingers to your heart’s content.
For the very first time in MLB The Show, your Ballplayer could be a two-way player, expanding flexibility in player position options. Like a revamped player progression system that emphasizes variety and adaptability. Use your centralized ballplayer in Road to the Show finally, online in Diamond Dynasty, Moments and programs.
Animations & stances
You flips want bat? We flips have bat. In fact, we’ve added over 100 new personalized bat flips, home run swings, and bat tosses. We’ve got 140 new batting stances also, 250 redone batting stances, 160 new pitching animations, 180 redone pitching animations, and much more than 1,000 new fielding animations.
Fans of MLB The Show have waited for the capability to build their dream ballpark in-game patiently, and we have been pleased to say that the wait has ended nearly. On the PlayStation 5 version, MLB The Show 21 offers you the opportunity to build and customize stadiums with over 1,000 pieces which range from foul poles, signs, buildings, plus much more. The developers have designed specific stadium kits which range from realistic to fantasy, giving players the opportunity to create bespoke layouts, dimensions, wall heights, and much more while having the ability to use created stadiums in both Diamond Franchise and Dynasty modes. With an web connection, the fun doesn’t stop there as players can share, play and edit in stadiums developed by fellow MLB The Show community members, too.

MLB The Show 21 Feature Premieres
