Cooking means a lot of things to many differing people. It’s rather a method of sharing culture, bringing friends and family and families over home-cooked meals together. Or it’s rather a hobby, challenging one to learn new techniques as you increase your repertoire of signature dishes. And for individuals who know their food is ready once the smoke alarm goes off, it’s an art with room for improvement. Today, we’re excited to reveal our new game Soup Pot within the /twitchgaming Showcase: [email protected], giving seasoned chefs and curious cooks a great and relaxing solution to experiment in your kitchen.
Everybody eats, so it’s unsurprising that food is really a central section of many games. We wished to try something new, however. You’re in charge of every step, from selecting ingredients, washing produce, chopping vegetables, cooking rice, searing meat, and a large number of other interactions. Don’t worry, though: We don’t like doing dishes, which means you don’t need to tidy up when you’re finished.
We were inspired by the events of days gone by, and we incorporated them into Soup Pot . You might be in your kitchen alone, but you’re preparing food for a lively audience who’s tuning into your live-streamed cooking show. They’ll cheer you on when you’re on a roll and tease you when things aren’t going quite as planned. As you get more familiarity in your kitchen, you’ll access more stock and recipes your fridge and pantry with a huge selection of ingredients.
You begin with an individual recipe for Sinigang, a sour and savory pork soup, though you’ll figure out how to prepare 100 different dishes during the period of your culinary journey. We based the initial 66 of these on dishes that people at Chikon Club eat probably the most. We caused some top regional chefs from the spot to make certain that the ingredients and recipes were authentic. Those recipes aren’t strict guidelines, however. You want to replicate the very best section of cooking really, that is experimentation. You would like to stick to organic ingredients perhaps. You don’t like mushrooms maybe. What would happen if you decided to put in a little extra salt into that sweet dessert? You won’t get kicked from the kitchen or get yourself a “game over” for trying new things, should they don’t workout as you’d planned even.
We appreciate the artistry and skill that switches into fine cuisine, but we’re bringing a feeling of silliness to Soup Pot, too. Ingredients say their names if they are added by one to a dish, dough squeals once you poke it, and the soundtrack contains an eclectic mixture of Filipino artists – all providing food-referencing tunes.
Our goal would be to inspire players to increase that playfulness, improvisation, and experimentation to their real kitchens. Cooking will be a lot of fun, and Soup Pot is among the ways we’re sharing that feeling with the planet.
