Theme park fans will finally have the ability to roam the raptor paddock with Blue, Charlie and Echo on a soaring run that may take them 155 feet in the air increasing to 70 mph. The award-winning Universal Creative team together with Amblin Entertainment spared no expense to generate an equally thrilling solution to integrate a fresh story in the Jurassic World universe for the ride. Currently, their Jurassic Park water attraction continues to be in operation and contains not changed to the Jurassic World version that opened at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2019. However, like its West Coast cousin, the VelociCoaster shall feature popular characters from recent blockbuster films.
The initial cast from the Jurassic World movies Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas BD and Howard Wong will reprise their roles as Owen Grady, Claire Dr and Dearing. Henry Wu. A fresh in-universe story will transport guests right into a cinematic environment inspired by the Jurassic World films with detailed rock, a looming watchtower to help keep an optical eye on the dinos, and lush landscaping on the lagoon the coaster rests beside. Dr. Wu will greet you in the queue having an introduction to a fresh “carnivore expansion” while Claire and Owen prepare you for the adventure.
