HBO has released the entire trailer for the upcoming second season of Crystal Moselle’s coming-of-age comedy series Betty , friday on June 11 that is scheduled to come back on next. The video, that you can below have a look at, features the titular band of female skateboarders because they continue steadily to navigate the pressures of adulting through the pandemic in NEW YORK while attempting to stay true to themselves.

As well as the official Betty Season 2 trailer, HBO in addition has released the initial episode of the next season on the YouTube channel. Episode 2.01 titled “Octopussy,” was directed by Moselle from the script compiled by Moshe Kasher.

Betty is set contrary to the backdrop of NEW YORK. It focuses on a diverse band of ladies navigating their lives through the predominantly male-oriented world of skateboarding. The initial film’s five leads Dede Lovelace, Ajani Russell, Moonbear, Rachel Vinberg, and Nina Moran may also be starring in the series because they reprise their roles as Janay, Indigo, Honeybear, Camille, and Kirt, respectively.
In Season 2, our five protagonists are stepping into womanhood and tackling all of the challenges it brings firmly. Because they navigate the pressures of adulthood, their male counterparts up begin to step, part of, and be true allies, forming a united front for the higher good. Occur the final chapter of 2020, the growing season captures the pandemic in NEW YORK, where masks and outside activities will be the norm.

Betty is written and executive made by Moselle and Arfin with Moselle also serving because the director. The initial and series adaptation is founded on the lead stars’ real-life all-female skate crew named Skate Kitchen.
Executive producers are Igor Srubshchik, Jason Weinberg, Michael Sherman, and Matthew Perniciaro of Bow & Arrow Entertainment along with RT Features’ Rodrigo Teixeira. Lizzie Nastro can be set as a producer alongside Kotva Films’ Izabella Tzenkova. Arfin Material together with Untitled Entertainment will be co-producing for HBO.
