‘Cock Tease’ Oscar Isaac Gives Moon Knight Season 2 Update

Oscar Isaac wowed fans in his role as Steven Grant/Marc Spector/Moon Knight in Disney+ and Marvel Studios’ series based on the comic book character. While a second season isn’t confirmed yet, Isaac has not shied away from teasing fans about the possibility.

In a recent interview with Collider about his graphic novel Head Wounds: Sparrow and his career as a whole, Isaac was asked about the possibility of a second season of Moon Knight. The notoriously coy Isaac joked that he couldn’t definitively say whether one was happening because he’d lose his abilities to tease audiences.

“We can’t definitively say that. I need my teasing abilities. Can’t drain me of those. What a cock tease I am. Always been,” Isaac teased before noting that he does hope that one happens, even if there’s no official word of one yet. “No, I hope so. We’ll see what happens. But at the moment, there’s no official word.”

Isaac’s comments come a couple of months after he and Moon Knight director Mohamed Diab appeared in a TikTok, in which the two were in Cairo and joked about the obvious reason they would be in Cairo.

While no official announcement has come regarding an upcoming second season, it would make a lot of sense for the series to get one. Following a successful run on Disney+, Moon Knight came to an end by teasing the appearance of yet another personality for Isaac’s Marc Spector, essentially ending on a cliffhanger that could easily be picked up in the second season.

Moon Knight stars Golden Globe winner Oscar Isaac as Steven Grant/Marc Spector, marking the fan-favorite superhero’s live-action debut. It also features Ethan Hawke as Arthur Harrow, F. Murray Abraham as the voice of Khonshu, May Calamawy as Layla, and the late Gaspard Ulliel.

“It follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life,” says the official synopsis. “Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.”
