The cast of the eagerly awaited Ridley Scott &# 8217, s Gladiator has expanded, and Barry Keoghan, who has been nominated for an Oscar, is reportedly in talks to join the movie.
Nothing is set in stone as of yet, but if the actor signs on to the movie, he &# 8217 will star alongside Paul Mescal, who was the first cast member to be revealed for the follow-up, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Keoghan has a big 2022 ahead of him because he played the Joke in The Batman and starred in Martin McDonagh’s # 8217, The Banshees of Inisherin, and # 8212, roles that won him an Oscar nomination for Best Actor in Supporting Role.
On November 22, 2024, the Gladiator sequel will be released in theaters under the direction of Best Actor Oscar nominee Paul Mescal( Aftersun ). Mescal did play Lucius, the brother of Connie Nielsen’s Lucilla, as opposed to taking place before the first movie and keeping Maximus in the spotlight.
