Wilson Fisk / Kingpin /# 8217’s origin story will be covered in the revival, according to new behind-the-scenes images from the Marvel Studios and # 5217 set of the upcoming Disney + series Daredevil: Born Again that have appeared online via Twitter.
The Daredevil: Born Again set pictures give audiences their first glimpse of a possible picture scene featuring Wilson Fisk fighting off some neighborhood bullies. The original Netflix series, which focused on Fisk &# 8217’s relationship with his parents, also addressed the Marvel villain and his turbulent childhood.
Daredevil: Born Again is described as an 18-episode revival of the original Netflix series, which ran for three seasons. It will feature the return of leading stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio as they reprise their respective roles as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
In 2021, both figures made their Marvel Cinematic Universe appearances, Matt Murdock shortly appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Kingpin guest-starring in the Disney + Hawkeye series. Cox reportedly had the opportunity to show off a different side of the protagonist in two bouts of She – Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Along with Cox and D &# 8217, Onofrio, the Daredevil revival will also see Jon Bernthal’s eagerly anticipated return as Frank Castle / Punisher. They are joined by Nikki M. James, Michael Gaston, Margarita Levieva, Vanessa Fisk, and Sandrine Holt as Michael Gandolfini.
Daredevil: Born Again hails from head writers Matt Corman and Chris Ord, who will also serve as executive producers along with Kevin Feige. The series is currently set to premiere in the spring of 2024 on Disney+.
