The possibility of District 10 and # 8212, a sequel to the well-liked science-fiction film, has been updated by District 9 director Neill Blomkamp.

Blomkamp was questioned about whether Sony would still be connected to District 10 in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. The conductor confirmed that Sony would be involved, but added that he doesn’t know for sure whether the movie will be made or not. He did, however, make the assumption that it will eventually be produced.
Blomkamp confirmed that they would be tied to it, and # 8220. &# 8220, I’m not sure if it’s being produced. I’m not sure if I even want to make that right then, but it will probably be done eventually.
The director agreed when the interviewer said that Gran Turismo and # 8217’s response would likely increase the likelihood that District 10 would occur, saying,” Yeah, that makes sense.” &# 8221,
District 9 received a lot of good reviews when it first came out in 2009, and it eventually received some award nominations. Blomkamp and Sharlto Copley both reportedly wrote documents for a possible District 10 and had been alluded to many times over the years.
