If the movie is half as inventive and enjoyable as its posters, then Saw X is going to be one of the best entries for some time.
The latest Saw X poster takes inspiration from the movie’s Mexican setting while nodding to the Saw series with a Mayan-style disc that features lots of fun details of the history of the Saw franchise.
The poster features the tagline ”The Tenth Chapter Cuts Through Time”, which may bring wild ideas of the Saw series going on a time-travelling adventure, but it’s more likely that the poster is a nod to the fact Saw X is a prequel of sorts as it takes place between the vents of the first two movies.

It’s quite fun to discover all the little Saw moments captured in that disc. It seems like every previous entry is covered in some way too.
In Saw X, John Kramer, aka Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), is seeking medical help in Mexico after the events of the first film. When the clinic promising to cure his cancer turns out to be a sham, Jigsaw gets justice the only way he knows how. With inventive sickening traps. The film is directed by the returning Kevin Greutert.
Saw X will be luring us into theaters on September 29, 2023.
