Just a few weeks ago, Immortals of Aveum hit the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, and PC. We gave it an 8 out of 10 in our assessment because we thought it was fantastic. Now, Ascendant Studios, a designer, fired about 45 percent of its employees. & nbsp,
Bret Robbins, the founder and CEO of Ascendant, explained the large & nbsp, staff reduction in a statement posted today on Twitter. He claims that after the publication of Immortals of Aveum on August 22, it was a terribly difficult decision but one that was needed. Here is Robbins’ complete statement: & nbsp,
Approximately 45 % of our team at Ascendant Studios are saddened as we say goodbye to friends and coworkers now. We must make this modification then that Immortals of Aveum has shipped, despite the fact that it was a terribly difficult but important decision. We are helping those affected in any way we can, including by providing detailed remuneration packages, assistance with job placement, and support services for those who are still in need. Please get in touch with us if your studio is looking for established UE5 artists and engineers so we can introduce you to some very skilled game developers. & nbsp” I’m so pleased with the work Immortals of Aveum has done for our independent development team.” Together, we’ve developed a brand-new AAA workshop, an Internet, based on cutting-edge technologies, in an area of our industry where that is incredibly uncommon. While wearing our emotions on our arms, we have poured our love into Immortals. As we support the development of this activity and our Immortals IP moving ahead with new updates and presents, the workshop will keep working in that manner. ” Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your invaluable contributions to Ascendant’s culture and your enormous impact on bringing Immortals of Aveum to life ,” said & nbsp to my team reading this message, especially those leaving us. We only hope for the best for you in the upcoming phase of your profession. Please stay in contact.
