The Last O.G. Renewed for a Fourth Season at TBS

The Last O.G. Renewed for a Fourth Season at TBS TBS has officially renewed Tracy Morgan and Jordan Peele’s hit comedy series The Last O.G. for a fourth season. The network has also announced that writer-comedian Owen Smith (black-ish) will be taking over from Keenan Ivory Waynes as the series’ new showrunner. This renewal comes after over four months since the acclaimed series concluded its 10-episode third season. “I am so excited that we get to make another season of ‘The Last O.G.,” Morgan said in a statement (via The Futon Critic). “All I ever want to do is try and bring joy to people which is hard right now but I appreciate that we will have the chance to go back to work and do what we can to make the world a little brighter.” Smith added, “I was already a big fan of the show so getting the opportunity to helm this production and work with this amazing cast and crew is a huge honor. I’m looking forward to telling stories that humanize Black men in ways that are not just comedic but relevant and real.” RELATED: TBS Lands John Cena & Nicole Byer to Host Wipeout Revival! Meanwhile, Tray’s ex-girlfriend Shay (Tiffany Haddish) is presented with the business opportunity of a lifetime, which could mean big changes for the whole family.
