Halo Series Episode 8 Review – Discussing THAT Master Chief Scene

Stop me if you've heard this before, but the Halo series has continuously been a roller coaster ride of good and bad, and few episodes encapsulate that as well as this week's tale in "Allegiance." Join us on The Game Informer Show as we discuss the eighth episode of the series, break down the most significant moments, and discuss the scene everyone is talking about. Your regular hosts of Alex Stadnik, Andrew Reiner, and Brian Shea are back again and definitely have thoughts on the return of Master Chief, Makee, and Dr. Halsey. After a week away on Madrigal with Kwan and Soren, the focus shifts back to Reach and what the UNSC is doing about finding The Covenant and Halo. While the militaristic arm of humanity panics over other planets getting glassed by their alien foes, John and Makee are spending time getting to know each other after their shared vision of the show's namesake. While the universe's greatest Spartan and the Covenant spy fraternize in the park (and other places), Dr. Halsey continues to meddle in order to advance humanity in her image, threatening the people she's trying to save in the process. Will the good doctor's interference and the union between the main characters result in unity between the two warring factions or make the upcoming battle that much harder? You'll just have to listen to this week's show to find out. What do you think about Halo thus far? Be sure to let us know in the comments below. We'd also love your feedback on the extra GI Show episodes. Do you like them? Do you want to see us focus on games or the Marvel shows in the future? Please email us at [email protected] or reach out on Discord as we want to know what you think.

Exclusive The Curse of Audrey Earnshaw clip teases witches’ ritual As the time quickly approaches for the release of the festival horror hit, ComingSoon.net has received an exclusive clip from The Curse of Audrey Earnshaw, which is set to hit select theaters later this week! The clip can be viewed in the player below! RELATED: Exclusive The Curse of Audrey Earnshaw Trailer! The Curse of Audrey Earnshaw explores the disturbed bond between Audrey, an enigmatic young woman, and Agatha, her domineering mother, who live secretly as occultists on the outskirts of a remote Protestant village. Following an ominous encounter between Agatha and a grieving townsman, and a rare sighting of Audrey by a local, Agatha’s authority crumbles as Audrey asserts her dominance. Meanwhile, hysteria mounts within the community as a mysterious pestilence spreads throughout the fields and livestock, yet the Earnshaw farm remains strangely unaffected. The cast for the film includes Catherine Walker (A Dark Song), Jared Abrahamson (Travelers), Hannah Emily Anderson (The Purge), Geraldine O’Rawe (Seven & Me), Don McKellar (Sensitive Skin), Sean McGinley (The Alienist: Angel of Darkness) and Jessica Reynolds in her feature acting debut in the titular role. The film is written and directed by Thomas Robert Lee, with Gianna Isabella producing while Lee executive produces alongside Marie-Claude Poulin, James Mahoney, Bill Marks, Diwya Shahani, George Mihalka, Susan Curran, Patrick Ewald and Shaked Berenson. Nick Thomas acts as cinematographer for the film while Ben Lee Allen is editor and Thilo Schaller and Bryan Buss compose the music for the pic. “I wanted to tell a story about legacy, and to specifically explore it within the context of a folk horror narrative,” Lee said in a statement. “The community grows increasingly desperate as their given circumstances grow dire. In reality, the pandemic appears to have amplified hatred and xenophobia, or at least the voices of those spewing hate speech. Obviously there is a world of difference between my screenplay and the very real ramifications of the pandemic, but the similarities, however surface-level they may be, have certainly been on my mind these past months.” RELATED: Freaky Trailer: Kathryn Newton Swaps Bodies With a Serial Killer The Curse of Audrey Earnshaw is set to hit select theaters on October 2 followed by a VOD and digital platform release on October 6!
